The debut cut by Jason Joshua & The Beholders hits it out of the park with a universally groovy double-sider The A-side cut "Rose Gold" is a Latin-soul stomper, reminiscent of early Joe Bataan, Ben Pirani or Budos Band. Funky yet mellow, this track could (and should) be listened to anywhere, from a slow-burning dance floor to a convertible for the world to hear. The B-side track "Are You Ready" is a bit more in the up-beat funk vein but is just as groovy. For fans of Colemine Records, Motown, or Big Crown.
