  • Now on double cassette! Originally released on double CD and triple vinyl back in 2007, the Jay Deelicious album compiles the harder to find Dilla productions, remixes and rarities made for esteemed hip-hop label Delicious Vinyl circa '95-'98. This is the perfect way to fill in the gaps in your Dilla collection, or discover slept on gems. Of course you get classic Jay Dee produced originals for the Pharcyde ("Drop," "Runnin'," "Somethin' That Means Somethin'," etc.), but also a gang of less heard remixes for groups like The Brand New Heavies and N'Dea Davenport (with raps from Q-Tip and Mos Def to boot). Would be worth it just for these sleeper Dilla cuts, but you also get the instrumentals too! Must have for the serious Jay Dee fan. Recommended.

    • tape reissue of the 2007 compilation
    • double cassette boxset - vocal & instrumental versions
    • housed in box slipcase
    • music label: The Bicycle Music Company 2016
