Heat alert! City Of Dreams hooking up the boogie fiends big time with a proper 12" reissue of Jeff Floyd's 1984 burner "Don't Leave Me." The sound sample will speak for itself as Floyd kills the groove with grooving bass, slick keys, and a super infectious synth hook. Not only that, but the Southern soul singer absolutely nails it on vocals. No need to pay the big bucks on the original 45 (that usually goes for around $300) as this version hooks up the original mix, plus a dance edit that respectfully re-arranges the track for easy mixing. Recommended.
