Funk / Reggae rarities pressed on limited edition 45! Ximeno Records ALWAYS comes correct with each of their releases, the latest is no different. Side A features a highly sought out Reggae tune from Jennifer Lara covering the Kashif penned tune 'I'm In Love' which was made FAMOUS by Evelyn Champagne King. OG copies go for a nice little bank loan and don't sound anywhere as nice as this. The flip (no pun intended) is another rare piece, this time from Filipino funksters Joe Cruze & The Cruzettes. The tune can be classified as Funk but it is under the umbrella BAD ASS. Weird pairing? Sure, but when you got Soul fever this is one of those never leave the crate joints. Recommended.
