The origins of Nausicaa's sound! Legendary Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi created the music found on this Image Album for Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind before the groundbreaking 1984 animated film was produced. Like other Image Albums, these songs were inspired by and produced based on original concept artwork, in this case Miyazaki's glorious original Nausicaa manga, and serve as the basis for the actual film soundtrack. This limited edition 2018 import reissue comes complete with fold out illustration insert, and is housed in a replica of the original 1983 cover featuring masterful artwork by Miyazaki-sensei. Recommended.
