Lab Overview

Pure dance floor gold. Joey Negro & Sean P revisit their seminal Disco Spectrum series and cherry-pick the best floor fillers to turn out your next disco set. The original Disco Spectrum comp was released nearly two decades ago in 1999 (with volumes 2 and 3 following in 2000 and 2002), setting the bar high for subsequent disco comps with top notch selections that have stood the test of time. On The Best Of Disco Spectrum, we're treated to a curated set of wide-ranging disco jams that have been proven time and again to pack the dancefloor. Includes sure shots from Rare Pleasure, Ramona Brooks, Bunny Mack, Syreeta, Omni, and many others. From Joey Negro (aka Dave Lee) - 

"Who would have expected the disco revival to be even stronger now than it was then, though looking down the track-listings of the 3 installments of Disco Spectrum, most of the songs included on those compilations have since been remixed, sampled, bootlegged, covered, re-edited, re-compiled and re-issued – often on multiple occasions. Since disco supposedly "died," dance music has taken many twists and turns through a myriad of styles, moods and tempos – but disco still remains the foundation and lynchpin."
