Lab Overview

Essential works from legendary director/composer John Carpenter compiled on vinyl for the first time! Carpenter is often considered one of the greatest film makers in the history of modern cinema combining his unique vision with self-composed and performed minimal synth-driven scores. Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998 collects several of these classic themes in newly recorded form, with the same collaborators that Carpenter worked with on his hit Lost Themes studio albums and his hit 2016 international live tour (namely his son Cody Carpenter, and godson Daniel Davies). This is the 2018 pressing on limited edition red and black starburst colored vinyl from Sacred Bones. Features 13 iconic themes from classic Carpenter films including Assault On Precinct 13, The Fog, Prince Of Darkness, Escape From New York, Halloween, They Live, The Thing, and more. Recommended.
