Turtle Power. The original score to the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film finally gets an official pressing courtesy of Waxwork Records! By 1990, Turtle-mania had officially taken the planet by storm. Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael were everywhere - from comics to cartoons, lunch boxes to toys, and everything in between. The movie was the cherry on top, coming in at the peak of their popularity, only to solidify the turtles' place in the pantheon of pop culture. Though the film was immensely popular, the original score was never released... until now. Waxwork Records has teamed up with the original composer John Du Prez, TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman, and Nickelodeon to finally make the soundtrack available. This 2018 pressing comes on orange + green "Michelangelo" colored vinyl, and features remastered sound from the original sources, complete with all new artwork from Eastman, foldout poster, and 1990 TMNT film postcard. A must for all TMNT fans.
