Future Times always seems to be able to deliver something new and unusual. Whether it's new age tinged house or lo-fi techno journeys you can be sure the music is always top quality. Jordan GCZ, aka Jordan Czamanski, aka Jordash from Juju & Jordash joins the DC based label for their 23rd release. The Amsterdam based artist serves up three distinct tracks of bugged out house that only he could deliver. The surprisingly aptly titled "Swingonoguitaro" starts out with a pounding house beat that meets up with a guitar somewhere this side of the Cocteau Twins. Things warp along the way to create a world unique to the track itself. From there we're taken to the sci-fi funk of the title track which pushes and pulls in directions only Jordan GCZ knows. No one bar is the same as the song constantly moves and changes. Just when you thought you were getting your bearings "Fusionfuk" shows up to through you off course. Glassy FM synths play against kinetic poly-rhythms to create something that seems right at home on Future Times. Another feather in the cap for both artist and label.
