Roots train number one! The legacy of "Police & Thieves" is carved in stone, a track where Lee Perry's production and Junior Murvin's wild falsetto combined into one of the most unique reggae songs ever. And it is, of course, impossible to live up to that height, but if you're into that sound, this album offers another 9 shots of similar feeling; reverbed guitar and underwater organ everywhere. Check out "Roots Train,” “Tedious,” “False Teaching," and "Lucifer." Great cover art on this one too. Deluxe 4 Men With Beards pressing on gold colored vinyl, limited edition, recommended.
