  • "Since I Don't Have You Anymore" feels like a deep, rare cut from a Numero comp. The uptempo track is the lead single to the Bay Area singer, songwriter, engineer and producer Kelly Finnigan (also the lead singer of group Monophonics)'s album, The Tales People Tell, and it stays true to the vintage sounds of soul preserving the raw, grittiness as well as the tender & emotive tropes of the genre. Finnegan has been a lifetime fan not just of soul, but R&B, hip-hop, and more, and he clearly channels his influences into his songwriting and production (he also plays some of the instruments on this track as well as a total of 10 instruments throughout his album) on this gem. Instrumental included on the b-side.

    • clear vinyl
    • limited to 1000 copies
