Jimi Disko reaches deep into Kenny Dixon Jr.'s catalog for this deep house classic. The track was originally issued on Terrence Parker's Intangible imprint, who's remix is featured here. It's a soulful take, with mellow saxophone ad-libs and a bump worthy bass line. Over this near perfect combination a pitched down Bruce Lee proclaims, "I said emotional content, not anger" followed by some choice words which may be from Moodymann himself. Classic Detroit house does not get much better than this. Single sided pressing. Recommended.
