  • "IT'S THAT SOUND..." The Kinetic Electronix project debuted on a split 12" with House Of Doors in 2014, and have now turned in a full double-pack almost 3 years later. As always with the Mood Hut posse, details are scant regarding group membership and affiliations, but a trip through the 'scogs black hole suggests that Kinetic Electronix is an alias of Aquarian Foundation and consists of (take a deep breath) Layne Brown (Bluntman DeejayHouse Of Doors), Tanner Matt (Hashman Deejay, Ttam Renat) and Chad Thiessen (Neo Image). Music For Beings is chock full of Mood Hut's signature brand of blunted Vancouver house music. Worth the price of admission for dubby, spaced out opener "Roamin'" alone , but we're also rinsing out moody electro cut "Dewdroppin II", ethereal stepper "Spring Step" and the self-explanatory swing of "New Jack Bubble". Recommended.

    • black double vinyl pressing
    • music label: Mood Hut 2016
