  • Touring for the past year has kept LCD busy, but it didn't stop them from recording a live album on a week's break in London. This Is Happening has earned LCD the credibility as one of the premier bands of the decade; and their 2010 world tour has solidified them as one of the "decade;s best live bands". Putting that reputation to the test, LCD sat down and recorded their first in-studio live recordings. The London Sessions brings the hands-in-the-air sound, humor and thrills of the concert experience to the home listener. The album embraces some older classics ("Daft Punk Is Playing At My House," "All My Friends")  and our favorites ("Drunk Girls," "I Can Change") from This Is Happening, perpetuating the LCD performance and presenting it for the first time to fans with a possible social anxiety disorder. The album was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road and mixed at Plantain Studios, NYC. Recommended.
