However, the music contained on Sound System Scratch - Dub Plate Mixes 1973-79 will have even his most ardent followers scratching their heads. It's a seriously out there collection of dub plates and sound system specials that includes some well tread Upsetters' rhythms along with deeply strange material. Everything has been pushed and pulled into unexplored territory. There are even some early drum machine workouts that seem to have predicted the digital dancehall sound ten years before it hit. Twenty tracks in all. Released by Pressure Sounds on double vinyl housed in a black and white sleeve.
