Leo Zero (Leo Elstob, A Mountain Of One, amongst other aliases) drops this 5 track EP for the diverse dancefloor. Although the sound construction is clearly modern disco / house, Zero’s use of rough cut samples gives it a throwback feel. The opener “Multiculture” harks back to Thomas Bangalter’s early work on Roule. From there, the EP has a distinctly NY feel with nods to Paradise Garage and the No-Wave scene.
