Les Sins aka Toro Y Moi with his second release on Dan Snaith's highly collectable Jiaolong imprint (no.8 if you're counting). "Grind" spells immediate satisfaction, as Chazwick Bundick creates a potent boogie-funk cut for any dancefloor. It's a real expert blend of boogie-funk samples and new disco techniques. B-side hits a different part of a brain with what sounds like Bundick's approach to Trap. His entry way is more electronica than hip-hop, but the bass and high hats hit the same. The meatiness and accessibility of this record, remind of an "Give The People Want". Recommended.
