Lab Overview

One for the fans. Lil Peep, hailed as an artist "at the forefront of bridging hip-hop, emo-pop-punk" and "one of the most promising musicians in any genre," passed away in 2017, and Com Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 is the his first posthumous album. Continuing where Come Over When You're Sober, Pt.1 left off, the emo rap star continues to bare it all, emotionally, over alt-rock-guitar-meets-trap beats (produced by Smokeasac), and his penchant for writing catchy melodies and hooks once again amazes. Under the hazy, and perhaps drug-addled musical exterior is a lot of pain & struggle, something that has resonated so much with Peep's huge following. R.I.P. Gustav Ahr, check out "Broken Smile (My All)," "Runaway," "Sex with My Ex," "Life is Beautiful," "16 Lines," and "Fingers."
