Dark, weird, and flat out good… Travis Miller is a noise musician hailing from Richmond, Virginia. In 2010, he started releasing experimental rap under the Lil Ugly Mane moniker, and Mista Thug Isolation came two years later. Houston and Memphis influences are clear on the underground cult "classic," but the brilliance lies in the way Miller aka "Shawn Kemp" freaks out the Southern bounce; Jazz, psych, lo-fi, and eerie soundscapes accompany the rumbling bass and hi-hat work, and what comes forth is an eccentric, original, & druggier interpretation of familiar rhythms (DJ Screw, Three 6 Mafia). Cosigned by Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, and the likes upon release, this is the 5th anniversary reissue. Features guest appearances from supa sortahuman and Denzel Curry, check out: "Throw Dem Gunz," "Twistin," "No Slack In My Mack," "Wishmaster," "Hoeish Ass Bitch," "Serious Shit," and the title track.
