Volume four of the Ambivert Tools series from Lone (née Matt Cutler) on R&S. Comfortably straddling that line between head-in-the-clouds techno and the UK hardcore continuum like none other, Lone goes three for three here with the lush, breaks-driven, 8 minute dreamer “Pulsar” encompassing the A side, and stepping electro cut “Oedo 808” and euphoric morning after roller “Blue Moon Tree” on the flip, echoing ghosts of grime, Detroit techno and vintage Jersey house like they were destined to live happily together forever. Housed in full pic sleeve; others in the series aren’t the easiest to come by so grip it while you have the chance. Recommended.
