Originally released in 2016, the record finds the late Pittsburgh artist crooning as much as rapping, and his mature, r&b and gospel-influenced musical direction, seemingly at odds with his brash reflections on love (not necessarily romantic) & life, somehow finds ground as Miller stays sincere and focused throughout. At 10 tracks, The Divine Feminine is also one of the more concise works from Miller, and he brings in an impressive roster of guests—Bilal, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, Njomza—to further expand his message and sound. Check out "Dang!," "Stay," "Cinderella," "My Favorite Part," and "God Is Fair, Sexy Nasty."
