Lab Overview

Madball is a side project of hardcore outfit Agnostic Front, and the New York-based band, lead by Roger Miret and Freddy Cricien, released Demonstrating My Style in 1996. The band makes an appearance (w/ Roger Miret in a wheelchair) in the documentary N.Y.H.C., which chronicles NY’s hardcore scene of the mid-90s by showing live performances and interviewing people that were prominent in the circuit. Anthemic tracks like “Pride,” “Nuestra Familia,” “Set It Off,” and “New York City” trash on with aggression, and although not much can be said of the lyrics, the album does a good job of capturing the vibrant energy that drove the hardcore punk culture. This is a 180g, silver vinyl repress of the album.
