As a pioneer of early West African electronic music, Mammane Sani's created music that filled the African airwaves as background drones to TV news, radio broadcasts, and more. Through minimalist organ playing techniques, Sani creates a spacious sound that tranforms ancient Nigerian melodies into something totally unique. The soundscape is like a cross between Mulatu and Onyeabor heard through a hazy dream filter- nothing short of brilliant.
