Four tracks of shimmering house from Maricopa. The young producer returns to Back To The Balearics to complete his Pastel Love suite. There's a definite Norwegian influence on his sound. Traces of Lindstrom and Todd Terje pop up throughout the 4 tracks. Warm pads abound as precise percussion moves things forward. The opener, "Rise," will probably get things moving the most. However, the slow build of "Savannas" is not far behind. Maricopa takes a different path with "Goldmine" and slows the whole thing down into some sort of future lounge territory. Field recording samples help bring things to a close on "Balcony Life." One for the beachfront dancefloor set.
