Lab Overview

It's back! Here's the original review for this proven dancefloor bomb: "Finally got in this highly sought-after new disco cut from Brooklyn's Midnight Magic on vinyl! The track has been at the top of everyone's lists and has been damn near impossible to get stateside, but PH pulled some strings and now we have a handful of the import 12"s from Permanent Vacation. The band lives up their name and spreads some real disco magic on "Beam Me Up." A killer track from every angle - from the melody, the arrangement, and the vocals - plus it has one of the most addictive choruses I've heard in recent memory, the kind of thing you'll be singing in your head for days after the party is over. The Jacques Renault mix is the one to play out, and pretty much kills the dancefloor every time with its punched up drums and slightly faster tempo. This maxed out single also includes an electrified remix from Gavin Russom and a remix from The Loving Hand aka Tim Goldsworthy. Pic sleeve, recommended." Not to be missed!
