Oh so creepy! Midnight Magic is back and here to make you move. The funky disco powerhouse first made waves with "Beam Me Up," their undeniable, spirit lifting jam. It provided the perfect foreshadowing for what was to come; tight rhythms, chunky basslines, and the powerful vocals of Tiffany Roth. The group is made up of veterans of various DFA projects as is evidenced by the music on Midnight Creepers. Their chops have been honed by years on stage and in the studio, and the song writing is more than up to snuff. Check "Someone's Watching Me" for some serious uptempo boogie and "Same Way I Feel" for some classic disco vibes. For all the pulsing rhythms and soaring vocals Midnight Magic have managed to carve a unique space for themselves in the world of modern dancefloor music. While they might not seem out of place on a label like Italians Do It Better, there is plenty of personality and character present in their music to separate them from that label's stable of artists. This is music that commands you to move, whether you like it or not.
