A meeting of two of the greatest minds in jazz music. This brilliant recording captures Miles Davis and John Coltrane performing live in Copenhagen on March 24th, 1960. The session is rooted in a traditional jazz sound, but you can hear them leaning toward a progressive phase that was soon coming. It is one of the few 60's recordings of the legendary group before Coltrane left to form his own band and an incredible document of masters at work. Pressed on clear audiophile vinyl from Doxy.
