Lab Overview

Early Miles reissued for Blue Notes 75 Anniversary. Originally released in 1952, A Young Man With His Horn was Miles Davis' first official release with Blue Note and the 1st of three he would record for label during the early 50's. Davis' performances are brilliant, despite his struggles with addiction at the time. Features Jackie Mclean on alto sax, Jay Jay Johnson on trombone, Oscar Pettiford on bass, Gil Coggins on piano and Kenny Clarke on drums. Mono pressing.
