Lab Overview

Doin' the cockroach, yeah! Modest Mouse's sophomore effort finally reissued on deluxe 180 gram double vinyl. Originally released in 1997, The Lonesome Crowded West is widely considered to be the Washington-based band's breakthrough album with Isaac Brock, Jeremiah Green, and the rest of the band really catching their stride. With so many classic tracks including "Doin The Cockroach," "Trailer Trash," "Shit Luck," and "Heart Cooks Brain" (ahem.. scratching!), it's easy to see why many consider this to be one of the best indie rock albums of the 90's. This welcome reissue comes at the nice price (OG copies go for upwards of $300), on heavyweight wax with each disc housed in separate sleeves. Recommended.
