8th studio album from indie vets! The New York set of indie rockers are back with a new album for City Sland records this time with a slight line up change, BUT possibly better than ever. Nothing earth shattering, just solid rock tunes that reminds me of the great days of 'college rock' (no diss). Lead singer Matthew Caws' voice is as sweet as ever that, while NS been around a little longer, is very reminiscent of Death Cab's Ben Gibbard. Not to make too many points of reference here but I'm also hearing some early 00s Guided By Voices in the music as well which again goes to say, these guys have been around the block and know how to craft solid indie rock tunes no ifs, ands, or buts. Fans will surely appreciate 'You Know Who You Are' and anyone looking for something that doesn't have an 808 in it or some oddly pitched vocal, this is quite a breath of fresh air. If you grew up with Pavement, Wilco, Sebadoh, American Analog Set, and the aforementioned GBV... can't recommend this enough. UK pressing comes on 180g vinyl and is housed in a gatefold sleeve
