What you know about Napoleon Cherry? Unless you've been digging obscure outsider funk for awhile, probably not much. Thankfully PPU intends to correct that and has issued this unreleased joint from Mr. Cherry on 12" for the 1st time. "When You Had The Chance" is a potent piece of smoked-out slow jam funk, perfect for setting the after hours mood and getting close to that special someone in the early morning. It's tough to really compare it to anything else (maybe Roland Young or Doug Hream Blunt?), but it's definitely got a special vibe that you need in your life. One sided pressing with instrumental included. Recommended.
