The unearthed freestyles and remixes from the Golden Era now on wax! This is a mix of previously unreleased material from the don and remixes of some of the biggest tracks of off his debut. There's the early "I'm A Villain," that gives us a taste of the greatness that was to come. That coupled with Nas' freestyle on the Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito show on WKCR should have been a warning shot to anyone that was listening. Then there's the numerous remixes of "It Ain't Hard To Tell" that shed some light on the sound of the time. Q-Tip's remix of "The World Is Your's" and Large Professor's rework of "One Love" present the songs on a smoother side. Each producer seems to tap deep into their jazz collections to give the tracks another side. Limited edition clear vinyl pressing.
