  • Heavyweight 180 gram reissue of New Order's sixth. 1993's Republic would be the UK band's first record to be released after Factory Records shut down in the early 90's, and would also be their last before a long 8 year hiatus. The often overlooked album (at least by New Order standards) follows in the footsteps of the 1989 classic Technique and finds Peter Hook, Gillian GIlbert, Stephen Moore, Bernard Sumner, and Stephen Hague fully consumed by electronic dance culture of the early 90's. A wide range of dance styles and influences can be heard over the course of the album, from breakbeat to baggy, early rave and synth pop, it's all there with N.O.'s signature hooks and guitars over the top. This 2015 reissue comes on 180 gram vinyl with fully remastered sound and Peter Saville cover.

    • 180g black vinyl pressing
    • remastered sound
