Lab Overview

Another sureshot from the Under The Influence series! Z Records has tapped elite collector and disco jock Nick The Record for Under The Influence number 4, and he's coming through with some serious heat for sure. Disco heads take note of the electic and exceptionally funky selections - from Jean Adebambo's funk groover "Say The You Love Me," to the gritty lo-fi breaks of Katunga's "Palo Bonito," and the silky disco of Betty and Beverly Prudhomme's "Tut Tut Twins," all personally edited with love by Nick and exclusive to this comp! Several deep originals are also included notably the instrumental to Blackway & Helene's impossible to find italo jam "Music For Us," Boogsie's feel-good "Can't You See Me" and Family Tree's gospel disco gem "150th Psalm." 8 tracks in all on double vinyl with gatefold sleeve. Recommended.
