After laying low for a minute, Nosaj Thing is back with new material on LA's Innovative Leisure imprint. "Eclipse / Blue" showcases a fresh direction in sound for Nosaj and the first single from his forthcoming album <i>Home</i>. The track itself is a powerful and moody uptempo fusion of forward bass, house and techno, with delicate acoustic elements as well as haunting vocals courtesy of Kazu Mikumo of Blonde Redhead fame. Pressed up on extra thick, one-sided 10" with minimalist artwork. Not sure if it's a limited deal, but this looks to be the kind of thing that will sell out quick. Recommended.
