Well aside from being incredible funk outfits, they were all helmed by the indelible duo of Jay and Max Whitefield. The German siblings have been in the game for over 4 decades and have never had a shortage of funky output. Original Raw Soul III aims to shine some light on some of the best work from the Whitefield brothers over 16 tracks from a wide range of aliases. Check out the pan-african psych jazz of the Whitefield Brothers, the garage funk of Bus Peoples Express, the raw vibes of the Poets of Rhythm, and the deep jazz of Bajka. Plenty of funky nuggets to dig into here. Pressed on double vinyl in silkscreened cover.
