Repressed! Omar-S dropped this double pack of Detroit heat back in 2011 as a limited release on Scion A/V. High School Grafitti features 5 track of raw, lean, and mean grooves that Alex Smith (aka Omar-S) is known for, including an awesome collab with fellow Detroit innovator Theo Parrish! The track "Who's In Key" features Theo on the DS1 synth flute, adding floating melodies to Omar-S's infectious bass melody. Worth it for this one alone, but also check the deep vibes of "My Naffew Randy," the spiraling techno groove of "Gunup Runup" and the heavy acid trip "Unitarian." 2015 repress with printed labels in plain black sleeve. Recommended.
