Heat alert! Over the years Detroit's Omar-S has reached cult status among techno and house heads with his self-released FHXE joints. His style can vary from deep driving techno, to downtempo beats, but here on Omar-S teams up with Aaron "FIT" Siegel for the sure shot house jam "Tonite." You really can't front on those soulful vocals courtesy of L'Renee, and when paired with those uplifting chords and grooving bass synths, it is a magic combination that's sure to set the off right. Even more effective is the Detroit mix on the flip that goes in heavy with the pianos and 90's synth sax that are just prime for peak time. Chalk another one up for the D! Recommended.
