His past releases on GAMM, Plimsoll, Square and his own OE imprint got us familiar, but now the Turkish producer releases a full double LP of material to really sink our ears into. Music Under New York delivers on all fronts with a stellar selection of jazz, soul, funk, fusion and latin from the likes of Eddie Palmieri, Gloria Gaynor, Don Costa, Bill Conti, Bill Evans, Stanley Turrentine, Starvue, Quincy Jones, and many more. This record is going to be on heavy rotation for awhile! Pressed on double 180g 12" and housed in a sweet pic sleeve. Easy recommendation on this one.
