When it comes to funk and soul edits, Onur Engin definitely knows how to cut it up proper. The Istandbul-based soulman gets picked up on Shoes spin-off Plimsoll (the label who brought you those killer D-Train edits) for an EP featuring four prime 70's soul and funk edits that'll warm up any dancefloor. Check the subtle yet effective edits of Charles Sherrell's "Soul Man," Marvin Gaye's "Mandota," the Crusader's "Chain Reaction" and Vic Caesar's "Bare Knuckle." Quality through and though for the funk and soul lovers. Recommended.
