  • Parisian DJ / Producer smooths it out cut n paste style. Constantly pulling from his Hip Hop beginnings Para One pushes his sound with roots firmly planted. With France seeing another revival having come out of a very loud and brash period in their sound, the Ed Banger gang reaches another level of sophistication. When The Night is a hodge podge of classic Hip Hop samples put together in a soft synth midtempo groove that is equal parts Boogie, David Ruffin, and Disco Rap. Having the instrumental + acapella on board is means enough to buy this 12" however EVERY remix on the single deserves it's own place on the dancefloor through out the night. LOGO reworks the tune into a chugging Techno Bass groover, while Discodeine (Pilooski's newest project) builds the tension just right in a 3 AM vibe, DVNO takes the early portion of the night with a Mantronix meets early 80s Fatback Band approach. Recommended.
