SF's Pat Les Stache has been around the scene for awhile now, curating the excellent American Athlete blog with all kinds of disco gems and releasing his edits on his own Cabana label. For his debut on Kojak, Pat hooks up "The Spirit Rides Again," a stellar edit of some rare 70's cosmic library cut. Can't call the original, but it's definitely got a potent combination of driving breaks with spaced out, fusion-y elements for your next Loft jam. The flipside takes it even deeper into tribal afro-jazz territory with "Odeyailoo Mambo." Heavy stuff.
