  • 30th Anniversary Edition! To celebrate three decades with their classic sophomore album, Pearl Jam are reissuing the album on heavy 180 gram vinyl, spread out onto two LPs and cut at 45 RPM for the very first time. Original Lab review:

After helping thrust grunge rock into the mainstream with Ten, Pearl Jam released Vs. in 1993. Rather than building on and/or attempting to replicate the success of its debut, the Seattle set scaled back commercial efforts (like consciously deciding NOT to shoot music videos) and delivered an album with a looser, rawer and more aggressive sound. The strategy… or non-strategy worked, and Vs. went on to achieve much acclaim while giving fans big singles like “Go,” “Animal,” and “Daughter.”

    • 30th anniversary edition cut at 45 RPM
    • 180g black double vinyl pressing
    • first time on double vinyl
    • housed in gatefold jacket w/ printed inner sleeves
    • original release year: 1993
    • music label: Legacy 2023
