Featuring a more polished sound, Pete Rock relies on his signature production style - smooth basslines, horns, filtered samples, etc - to provide groove-washed, jazzy backdrops for CL's "intellectual rhymes and narratives." "I Got A Love" was the lead single, with "Take You There," "Searching," "Carmel City," "Sun Won't Come Out," "Check It Out," and more sure to satisfy all the Golden Era fans out there. Clear 2LP Get On Down pressing; recommended.
