Lab Overview

Phoenix's answer to the dark times we live in is a vibrant, carefree, hedonistic, and fantasy-filled 10-tracker entitled Ti Amo. For its 6th studio album, Versailles's foursome presents lighthearted numbers inspired by a romanticized vision of Italy (hence the Italian title), and the fun starts right from the opening track, "J-Boy." '80s synth pop influences still ring true, and songs like "Fior di Latte," which was used for a lingerie commercial directed by Sofia Coppola (who happens to be frontman Thomas Mars's wife), and the title track once again remind us of why, no matter what language the band sings in, Phoenix remains one of the biggest names in the indie pop realm. Also check out "Tuttifrutti," "Goodbye Soleil," "Lovelife," and "Fleur de Lys" (peep the Fela Kuti sample!). This is the coke bottle clear vinyl pressing, comes with outer plastic sleeve w/ artwork, inner sleeve, digital download included...
