"Pro-ject's 6 PerspeX SB turntable delivers high end sound and functionality with stunning good looks. The acrylic plinth is the first thing you notice, a unique detail that is visibly appealing, that stands on three height adjustable TPE damped aluminum cones. The Corian sub-chassis rests on three magnetic fields that create a suspension system that avoids parasitic noise normally caused by con-ventional spring mechanisms. The resonance-optimized sandwich construction of the platter (a combination of MDF and vinyl layer + screw down record clamp) runs on an inverted bearing with stainless-steel axle carrying a ceramic ball/plate bearing. The pre-mounted 9" carbon fiber Pro-Ject 9cc Evolution tonearm rounds out this premium system.
