This grounded power cable worked wonders for eliminating an annoying hum from my Pro-ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB turntable. Switching from a two-prong to a three-prong did the trick. Easy fix too.

Too soon to tell whether or not it has any effect on the speed consistency of my Pro-ject Carbon EVO, which is already very good. However, it caused the on/off switch on the turntable to produce a small "pop" in the speakers when listening to the phono input, even with the volume all the way down, which hadn't been the case before. I tried moving the position of the PI, but it didn't help. SOLVED IT by unplugging the Power-it from the grounded audiophile power strip I use for the entire system and plugging it directly into another wall outlet (on the same breaker). That got rid of the popping problem AND that last lingering bit of background hum I could hear with the volume all the way up (impossible to hear when music is playing anyway, but I feel better getting rid of it entirely).

Works well with my ProJect "sister" 'table, the E.A.T. C Sharp. Does seem a slight bit quieter (and is certainly more robust) in comparison to the stock power line. Direct 'plug & play' with the E.A.T. speed controller box. Would recommend as a low-cost upgrade; also, TTL folks were really helpful at every step. Will be back for more cool stuff, for sure.

Awesome product.it solved the ground hum that the original power cable for my evo was creating. My speakers are plug and play and the original power cable doesn't react well to those type. Problem 100% solved.thanks

Most all Pro-Ject turntables are DC models, but to be sure you should be able to find this information on the underside of your turntable's plinth. Be careful when turning over your unit if you feel the need to check!
