Lab Overview

RATM's final album repressed! Originally released in December of 2000, Renegades was actually dropped a couple months after the band had called it quits. Thankfully the album still saw the light of day, finding Zach De La Rocha and Co. covering a diverse set of tunes, ranging from heavy hip-hop (Eric B & Rakim's "Microphone Fiend," Cypress Hill's "How I Could Just Kill A Man," Volume 10's "Pistol Grip Pump,"), punk (Minor Threat "In My Eyes"), classic rock (MC5 "Kick Out The Jams," Rolling Stones "Street Fighting Man,") and electro funk (Afrika Bambaataa's "Renegades Of Funk"), under the supervision of legendary producer Rick Rubin. This 2018 reissue comes pressed on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl, complete with fully remastered sound, and download card.
