Lab Overview

Thank you, Braxton Holmes. A highly coveted Ron Hardy edit re-done by a Chicago pioneer, who adds: "this edit is my reproduction of an edit that Ron Hardy played at 2210 S. Michigan Avenue (some called it the Powerhouse, some called it the Music Box, others the "powerfailure). This is the last time I saw/heard him play live… I recorded some of his set on a mini-cassette recorder… summer or autumn of '91)." Holmes extracts the ahem… rare essence of Rare Essence (not the D.C. go-go band)'s "Disco Fever," and his righteous blade work focuses the classic track for the dancefloor. Singled-sided, hand-stamped 12" that won't stay around for long!
