Lab Overview

Handy tape deck head demagnetizer from Record Supply Co. Features curved demagnetizer tip that makes it easy to reach record/playback heads. In addition, the tip is sheathed in plastic to protect heads from damage during demagnetizing. Works to demagnetize standard cassette tape decks, VHS decks, reel to reel players, and more. With the resurgence of cassettes in recent years, this is a great way to extend the life of your tape player (which can become magnetized from extended use). It is recommended to demagnetize your tape heads every 8 hours of playback.
